It was one evening when I wanted to chill and could hear loud music while along the Acacia avenue. I first entered the gate up, went downstairs and saw guys playing pool. I could not find where the music was being played. I got out and went a little down the road. It was Thursday evening. Next gate, some security control and here I was in. At the counter, it was quiet and could see some guys and ladies enjoying their drink. I was curious to see where the music was being played. There I was. Plenty of people. Side by side, I had to force and stretch my body in order to pass. Well, this is a place not to miss if you want to release your busy day. I ordered a Tusker malt beer and enjoyed the live music. Then I left. Overall, people there are amazing with lot of fun. I will go back during my next trip.
The DJ played 14 year old disco style music, it was too crowded with muzungus, a few locals, quite a few prostitutes. Good atmosphere, cool decor but very much an European night out, which suits some people but I prefer the more local vibe.
This place has great night life. Music & ambiance is very good. Fridays are happening. Food is delicious. Must visit.
When there around 2100 place was fairly empty. Ordered a beer and chicken Kiev apparently one of their signature dishes. After about 30 minutes fried. chicken and chips turned up. Which I returned then an obviously annoyed Chef turned up and claimed it was the wrong order and my chicken Kiev was ready. A total fabrication nothing arrived in the end I got fed up and went to the Indian over the road. On the way out I noticed that they were getting ready for the late crowed with ink stamp ready on the desk! As I said more night club than Irish pub, If you are looking for an authentic Irish pub sadly this is not the place.
