I am not particularly a beach sort of person but during our recent stay in the area we have been here a few times. It is a sheltered cove with a nice bar sitting just above, which is a great spot for a beer as the sun goes down. The bay is quite shallow as well so good for the kids. All in all a nice place to spend an afternoon.
We loved our visit to this beach and to the brilliant Kolifi cafe which overlooks the bay. It’s a great little beach and at this time of the year not crowded at all. Check out the cafe for delicious food and friendly service
Calm and pretty. Turtles in the sea. Extremely busy at weekends. Waterworks and cliff jumping available. Highly recommended
We visited and later found out it is the Cypriots national holidays hence the reason for it being so busy! We could not find anywhere to lay down our towel never mind get a parasol and umbrella. The sea is like a bath so is a perfect temperature for little ones and the bay is pretty shallow too. .. adult waist height. Could be amazing and I’m sure it is during quieter periods just not at the end of August!
